There are rules and regulations around the adverts we see on TV in the UK and abroad. In the UK Clearcast check the ads follow the UK codes of Advertising. We work with Clearcast in the early days of pre production to check the script is ok and in post production to ensure the graphics and on screen text meet the rights criteria.

It’s important to consider clearance early, a script will need to be viewed by Clearcast to ensure it follows the rules and regulation ahead of going into Production. By considering clearance early the creative has time to amend without being time pressured.
