The following describes our overall approach to promotional video production and we can offer as much or as little involvement as you require…

We dig deeper and look wider at your marketing objectives so we know really understand how the video needs to serve you best. This planning stage and the insight it provides is crucial before our creative teams in Bristol and London start to develop ideas and treatments.

From script development and storyboarding, to the shoot itself, post production, editing, animation, CGI and colour grading. We’re often asked about the optimum length of a promotional video and, despite there being no hard rule, we always advise to keep things short and sweet. This means prioritising your key messages and avoiding information overload. Better to leave the audience with a clear and compelling impression of your product or service and brand than try to say too much. In some cases we recommend breaking content down into shorter segments. In this way your videos can be more targeted, relevant and concise in way they say and how they say it.

INTEGRATION

Often video is dealt with in a silo, as a separate asset to other marketing collateral. We always seek to understand the bigger picture and make the video compliment and support your wider marketing activities. That means more than just getting fonts and colours right! We mean knowing where the video sits in your customer journey, the appropriate tone and feel. How does your video reflect your brand’s personality? Are there ways we could tie in with a wider campaign and build on an established creative theme or proposition?

CONSIDER ANIMATION

It’s important for businesses to visually bring a product or service to life and make it tangible. But for many of the clients we work with, what they actually do is difficult to physically shoot or represent in a real world scenario. Animation gives you the flexibility and control to explain, show and visualise ideas and information clearly and quickly. For example, animated marketing videos, or explainer videos, also allows you to put your own unique visual stamp on the content, making it distinctive and ownable as a brand.
