Shangri-La offers luxury hotels and resorts spanning key locations around the world and offer exuberant service, a range of amenities, and stylish surroundings. We worked with the Shangri-La brand team to develop an overarching creative theme for all Shangri-La video content; capturing hidden moments. This is expressed in the first film we created for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, the Maldives resort of Villingili.
The film showcases a non-linear representation of the guest experience and a selection of magical moments, conveying the brand in a tangible and emotive way. It is a representation of Asian values and hospitality – invisible and non-invasive, as well as displaying unique insights into the guest experience showcasing the unique offering of the Villingili resort.
The Villingili resort video was the first of a global rollout of video across Shangri-La and was the benchmark for driving awareness, engagement and conversion. Website page views and conversions were measured before and after the videos were integrated across Shangri-La.com and the Villingili property page. The results speak for themselves:
